We’re looking to bring on board a full-time Social Media Account Manager who bloody loves social media and has a strong understanding across organic and paid social. You are the face of Populate for your clients and as such, the ability to communicate effectively and in an engaging way is a must. We’re here to build genuine relationships and also have some fun!
We work with tons of different businesses, but most of our projects are focused around sports, e-commerce, music events and FMCG. We’ve done some pretty epic stuff which you can check out on our website, and we’ve got plenty more exciting projects in the pipeline. So naturally, your day-to-day is going to be pretty varied!
To give you an idea of what you’ll be up to, this role comes with lots of autonomy and the ultimate strategic direction of your accounts is your responsibility. You’ll manage and carry out the day-to-day activities for your clients in line with the bespoke strategy you and the wider team have created.
We work together on nearly every project so you’ll be crossing paths with our paid and creative teams daily. Spearheading the project and ensuring your finger is on the pulse is key. Are the paid campaign results on track to smash their targets? Is the creative content on-trend and in-line with your clients’ brands? Is your project management keeping everything organised, on-time and on-budget? These will be things you’ll need to be on top of for all your clients.
You’ll also be responsible for analysing data to produce insightful commentary for your clients—explaining the ‘why’ and the ‘what next’ to clients is important here. We want someone who takes an ‘above and beyond’ mentality to their accounts and can think holistically. Being able to spot social opportunities and identify areas where we can add value for clients is also pretty handy!
