The rundown.

CAFEPOD Coffee Co. is an independent craft coffee business established in 2011. They conceive quality coffee for adventurous coffee drinkers to enjoy home. They are inspired by the London coffee we love to drink – it’s got creativity, passion and pushes the boundaries. The products are now available in all major supermarkets and online retailers, with a range of Nespresso® Compatible Aluminium Pods, Roast Whole Bean and Ground coffee.

The brief.

As you can well expect, coffee is an essential in a busy office so when this brief came across our desk it certainly perked the attention of the team! CAFEPOD Coffee Co. approached us as they were looking to really grow their presence both offline and online. With a huge out of home campaign set to go live, they needed support with their social channels to ensure they capitalised on the new-found awareness. Naturally, the coffee landscape is one with lots of competitors. Our brief was to make sure CAFEPOD stood out and the personality of the business was carried through into social content.

The content.

Our creative team used a wide variety of techniques to produce content which aligned closely to the beliefs of the brand itself. From stop motion to cinemagraphs and regular photography, each piece was carefully considered – ensuring the brand remained front and centre. The main competitors, people like Nespresso, are highly polished – it was time to throw something more modern into the coffee game. Throwing pods in the air and trying to get the perfect shot is harder than it looks by the way (check out the image below)!
