Populate's Daniel Simmons shortlisted for Cardiff Business Award

Specialist social media marketing agency Populate is delighted to announce that it’s very own Founder, Daniel Simmons has been shortlisted for a Cardiff Business Award 2017, in the Young Business person of the year category.

Daniel founded the company in 2015 after graduating from Cardiff University and this is his second nomination in as many years. The awards, sponsored by Natwest, recognise outstanding achievement in business and celebrate talent, ambition and innovation from across Wales’ capital city.

Speaking about his nomination, Daniel said:

“It is humbling to be shortlisted for the award for a second year running. To be recognised alongside some of the biggest companies and most successful people within the region is a huge honour.

Our success as a business relies heavily on our excellent staff and news such as this goes some way to highlighting the great work that they do. Without them, I certainly would not be in this position!

The awards were a brilliant evening last year (despite the fact I missed out at the final hurdle!) and I am certainly looking forward to attending the event in June.”

Previous winners of the award include, Benjamin Milsom of Echosec and Nick Saunders from The Depot.

This year’s winners will be announced at an awards evening in Cardiff City Hall on Friday 23rd June.
