Juice Cardiff is the biggest student nightclub event in Cardiff, and quite possibly the UK. The weekly shenanigans take place at Cardiff Students Union and has fast become a firm favourite with the student population.

The team behind Juice utilise the services of Populate to manage their social media feeds and produce content that sets the brand completely apart from competition. There are no drinks deals in sight, just light humour and lots of paint!

We were tasked with building the brand through social media, increasing engagement, awareness and ultimately ticket sales. Our team came up with energetic & vibrant creative concepts that matched the ethos of the brand, along with partnering with student-focused brands such as VK to provide added value to the audience.

The Process

The brand Juice, formerly Flux, is the second generation of the popular night. For the Flux brand we were tasked with starting completely from scratch, building the followings on the respective social media channels and promoting the new night to the student population. After three years working on the Flux brand, we were given the opportunity to work on launching the re-brand. This was done through an extremely creative approach involving both online and offline activation.

The Result

The team have created an extremely motivated audience on the Juice pages, crafting an entertaining and well received character for the brand online. Our creative team have pushed the boundaries of what is traditionally associated with nightclub events, bringing something exciting and different to the table.

The brand itself has seen huge engagement online, with one post (a collaboration with VK) reaching over 1 million people organically.

The event has seen YoY growth of almost 25% and the team at Populate have been given huge credit for the work we have done to help achieve this.
